H. H. Capor nasce nel 1948 a Vienna. Ha frequentato corsi di fotografia all’Accademia di Salisburgo con Friedl Kubelka e Nan Goldin. Dal 1981 partecipa a varie mostre collettive e personali in Francia, Italia, Polonia, Lettonia e Austria.
Le sue immagini erotiche sono pubblicate dal trimestrale [nu] fin dai primi numeri.
«Fin da studente mi sono appassionato alla fotografia di nudo. La prima modella è stata la mia ragazza. Purtroppo sua madre ha visto le foto: scandalizzata, voleva i negativi». Così si presenta Capor nell’introduzione al libro nel quale racconta fotograficamente cinque delle sue ragazze, in immagini quotidiane dove più che posare si muovono davanti all’obiettivo attento e curioso del fotografo: «Scattando posso nascondermi dietro la macchina fotografica, e nello stesso tempo avere una scusa per guardare. Una sorta di legittimazione a fare il "voyeur". Alcune di queste ragazze sono diventate mie fidanzate, con altre sono rimasto amico e altre ancora sono sparite».
Nonostante gli anni di esperienza fotografica, ogni volta è interessante ed eccitante per Capor conoscere e fotografare nuove ragazze. Come Judith, che andava ancora a scuola; Zita, conosciuta per caso il Lettonia; Manuela, lei stessa fotografa; Rosemarie, commessa di una supermercato; Alexandra, artista che ama esibirsi.

H. H. Capor was born in Vienna in 1948. He has attended photography courses at the Salzburg Academy together with Friedl Kubelka and Nan Goldin. Since 1981 he has been taking part in various group exhibitions as well as one-man exhibitions in France, Italy, Poland, Latvia and Austria.
His erotical images have appeared on the pages of the quarterly magazine [nu] since the earliest issues.
«I was eagerly interested in nude photography since my student days. My first model was the girl I used to go out with. Unfortunately, her mother saw the pictures: she was outraged and wanted the negatives». In the introduction to the book where he tells about five of his girls by means of photographs that portray daily-life images and in which the girls are not posing, but rather moving in front of the photographer’s attentive and curious camera, Capor introduces himself like this: «When shooting photographs I can hide behind the camera and at the same time I have a pretext to watch. Some sort of a legitimization to play the "voyeur". Some of these girls have become my girlfriends, some others just friends, others again have disappeared».
In spite of long years of experience in photography, Capor finds it always interesting and exciting to get to know and photograph new girls. Like Judith, who was still a schoolgirl; Zita, whom he met by chance in Latvia; Manuela, a fashion photographer; Rosemarie, who stood at the cash-desk in a supermarket, Alexandra, an artist and an exhibitionist.
