Tom Porta esordisce nell’ambito dell’illustrazione erotica nel 1994 sulla rivista tedesca «O», la più importante pubblicazione fetish del momento.
Dal 1995 è collaboratore fisso del trimestrale Marquis come illustratore.
Altre sue illustrazioni e fumetti sono presenti sulle pagine di Heavy Rubber e Terminatrix.
Comincia a realizzare foto che utilizza come studi e modelli per le sue grandi illustrazioni iperrealiste, ma poi la fotografia diventa un linguaggio autonomo e inizia a pubblicare sulle riviste Selen e soprattutto sul trimestrale [nu] con il quale ha una collaborazione fissa.

Tom Porta came up in the erotic illustration world in 1994 in the German magazine «O», the most important fetish magazine of that period.
Since 1995 he works for Marquis as an illustrator.

He started with photography as a mere reference for his big acrylic illustrations. Then photography became a language by itself and Tom Porta starts to publish on Selen and more on [nu] magazine, where he can be found since then.
