Nasce a Verona nel 1937. Dagli anni Sessanta partecipa a varie esperienze delle avanguardie artistiche (poesia visiva e concreta, happening, performance...) con il Gruppo N, Emilio Vedova, i poeti Novissimi, Emilio Isgrò, il Gruppo 63, l’editore Vanni Scheiwiller.
Nel 1970 fonda la Cooperativa Cinema Indipendente e realizza produzioni nell’ambito del cinema sperimentale e underground.
Collabora a varie iniziative cinematografiche e mostre come quella al Centro Georges Pompidou di Parigi sull’opera cinematografica di Paolo Gioli.
È socio della Paris Film Coop e ha costituito nel 1988 la Cinema & Video Indipendente.
Ha collaborato a varie pubblicazioni e scritto libri come Cinema underground oggi (Martrogiacomo editore, 1974), Lo schermo negato (con Raffaele Perrotta, Shakespeare & Co., 1976), Videotape, arte, tecnica, storia (con Paolo Cardazzo, Mastrogiacomo editore, 1980).
Ha all’attivo numerosi film in 8 e 16mm e video (realizzati dal 1968 a oggi), e la partecipazione a numerose manifestazioni internazionali.

He was born in Verona in 1937. Ever since the Sixties he has been taking part in various experiences of the artistic avant-gardes (visual and real poetry, happenings, performances...) together with the Gruppo N, Emilio Vedova, the Novissimi poets, Emilio Isgrò, the Gruppo 63 and publisher Vanni Scheiwiller.
In 1970 he established the Cooperativa Cinema Indipendente and began realizing experimental and underground movie productions.
He has been participating in various cinematographic events and movie-related exhibitions, such as the one at the Georges Pompidou Center in Paris that focused on Paolo Gioli’s movie production.
He is a member of the Paris Film Coop and in 1988 he established the Cinema & Video Indipendente.
He contributed to various publications and wrote books such as Cinema underground oggi [Underground Movies today] (Martrogiacomo publisher, 1974), Lo schermo negato [The denied Screen] (together with Raffaele Perrotta, Shakespeare & Co., 1976), Videotape, arte, tecnica, storia [The Art, Technique and History of Videotapes] (together with Paolo Cardazzo, Mastrogiacomo publisher, 1980).
Since 1968, he has realized a number of 8-mm and 16-mm films and participated in various international events.
