Sergio Perini nasce a Ferrara nel 1959 e si diploma al conservatorio musicale della città.
In un primo tempo preferisce la pittura come espressione artistica ma poi, trascinato dall’esempio dai fratelli, si avvicina all’immagine fotografica. L’interesse per la fotografia di nudo maschile si manifesta quasi per caso, da qualche scatto improvvisato al “compagno”.
Collabora con le maggiori riviste gay italiane fornendo servizi e copertine.
Dal 1998 (con lo pseudonimo di Sergio Buccheri) è al fianco di Lucas Kazan e Kristen Bjorn come fotografo di scena nella realizzazione di produzioni erotiche.
Dal 1999 suoi lavori sono proposti da [nu]. Nel 2003 sono stati pubblicati un libro fotografico e un calendario a cura della casa editrice Bruno Gmünder di Berlino.

Sergio Perini was born in Ferrara in 1959, and he successfully attended the city school of music.
At first he chose painting as his means of artistic expression, but later on he turned to photography, following his brothers’ example. His interest in male nude photography arose serendipitously, originating in a few shots of his boyfriend that were taken rather casually.
He works for the most important Italian gay magazines providing photographic services and front-cover pictures.
Since 1998 (under the stage name of Sergio Buccheri) he has been helping in the erotical productions of Lucas Kazan and Kristen Bjorn as a stage photographer.
His works have been proposed on the [nu] magazine since 1999. In 2003, a photographic book and a calendar were published, both edited by the Bruno Gmünder publishing house in Berlin.
