Stefano Mazzotti |

| Born in Cesena in 1969, from an early age Mazzotti showed a talent for drawing. His studies included no formal artistic training, and he only went to University in order to gain required qualifications for entering the work force.
His first major opportunity for illustration came with the magazine Selen (edizioni Trentini). This taught him to respect tight deadlines, and gave him a taste for erotic illustration in comic-story form.
In addition to the traditional illustration using pen and crayon, he has developed into computer graphics, to which he has been increasingly attracted.
His most recent illustrations have been almost toally digital. The multiple possibilities offered by technology are substitutes only for the pen and pencil. They do not affect the expression of eroticism, or morbidity. This remains guided by the hand which holds the optical pen (no longer the stylo) and fortunately still generated by his mind. Only the instrument with which he expresses his erotic thoughts has changed.
